As human beings, we sometimes take decision and do things we don’t normally do just because we want to have a close relationship with God. In the Nigerian movie industry, many of our celebrities have decided to take life changing decision due to their crave for a close relationship with God.

So after a careful research, I present to you 3 Nollywood stars who are currently making name for themselves in the gospel music industry. Gospel singers do not but breath life into people and draw their attention closer to God.

(1) Princess Peters:

Princess Osayomwanbor Peters who is widely known as Princess Peters is one of the actresses who switch career to gospel music. Princess Peters has worked with top Nollywood actors which includes Clems Ohameze, Destiny Etiko, Wilson Ehigator and so on.

As a gospel musician, Princess has won so many awards and nominations to her credit alongside other well known Nigerian gospel musician such as Mercy Chinwo, Judikay, Frank Edwards and so on.


(2) Prince Eke:

Prince Eke was one of the top actors in Nollywood action movies. He has featured in various movies alongside top actors in the movie industry which includes Mercy Johnson, Rita Dominic, Yul Edochie, Chioma Akpotha and so on. He was a professional at whatever he does infact his peccularities is out of this world.

After relocating to United State, Prince became a gospel minister. In 2018, Prince started his career as a gospel minister with the release of the song tittled Your Grace.

(3) Ugo Tuvi James:

Ugo Tuvi James contributed to the growth of Nollywood in Nigeria before he relocated to South Africa with his family where he now works to further God’s kingdom as a gospel musician, Ugo has released several hits songs and has led a large number of people to Christ through his music.
